I've been writing since the age of five when I discovered that pencils and paper combined with imagination could make school a little bit more fun. I have published numerous short stories and articles in places as diverse as Green Queen, Chill Out, Step Out, Monomyth, SASS Magazine, Epochalips Ezine, and frequently have had my work appear in the Gay Authors Newsletter and its anthologies. I've also had stories published as part of Forward Press anthologies 'Fanciful Things of Man' and 'Teatime Titbits' ( which is so much less pornographic than it might sound! ) both written as Janet James. The Lesbian Vampire Chronicles Book 1: The Children of Judas is my first published full-length novel although I've been writing those for more years than I care to recall. A 2nd Ed PB will be out in 2011 and I am now contracted to Untreed Reads to publish the e-book. Currently I'm working on Book 2 of The Lesbian Vampire Chronicles and on a new detective series set in New Orleans. When I'm not writing I enjoy reading, watching TV or movies, and spending time with my dog.
